When properly applied, nutritional therapy can have an extremely positive impact on health and wellness. From issues such as bloating and other digestive issues, insomnia, hormonal issues and foodintolerance or allergies to more serious chronic disease such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and obesity, nutrition has an important role to play in resolving these.
Finding the root cause of a health issue is key, and these can include nutritional deficiencies and toxic overload for example, which can inhibit the body from working as it should. By finding the cause of an issue in the body and supporting the body to overcome it, the symptoms should resolve.
It can take up to 2-3 months to see health improvements with nutritional therapy. In most cases, ill health is the result of many months or years of bad diet or lifestyle choices, and so correcting this can take some time
A initial appointment will typically take around 1.5 hours and will consist of a discussion and questions about you, your lifestyle, diet, health history and any symptoms you may have. With this information, our Therapist will formulate a personalised plan for you that will be emailed to you within 48 hours, with a follow up phone call to explain and discuss the recommendations.
A follow-up appointment will be booked for 2-3 weeks after and will be for about an hour. We will discuss your progress on the plan along with any necessary changes to the recommendations.
In preparation for your appointment, we will email to you confirmation of your appointment and attach a 3 day diet diary to complete. We will also ask you to bring with you a list of any medications and supplements you are taking.
